Karolína Isela Kurkova (born February 28, 1984) is a Czech model, best known as one of the Victoria’s Secret Angels, and an aspiring actress. Mario Testino said of Kurková, “The proportions of her body and her face, as well as her energy level, make her a model who could fit almost into any moment.” Designer Marc Jacobs said, “She has an angelic look with a dark side, she’s sweet and fun but looks like she could be an evil bewitching child.” Vogue editor Anna Wintour called her the “next supermodel”.

Czech supermodel Karolína Isela Kurková will play ‘Cover Girl’ in the upcoming Paramount Pictures’ “G.I. Joe” movie.

She began her professional career as a cheerleader for the Baltimore Ravens at age 18. At age 19 she auditioned for and won a spot with the WCW Nitro Girls. Not long after she joined them, the Nitro Girls were disbanded and she emerged as Miss Hancock, the morally outraged conservative who was too hot for her own good. When the WWE purchased the WCW in 2001 she was one of 24 wrestlers they decided to keep. Soon she was in the ring feuding with the likes of Christy Hemme, Torrie Wilson and Candice Michelle. In 2004 she dethroned Trish Stratus as the WWE Babe of the Year but was unsuccessful in numerous attempts to relieve Stratus of the WWE Women’s Championship Belt.
